If People’s Choice, Arts Fest and Philipsburg Heritage Days aren’t quite enough entertainment this week, how about a circus?

The Kelly Miller Circus will set up for four shows on Friday and Saturday at the Grange Fairgrounds in Centre Hall. Showtimes are at 5 and 7:30 p.m. on Friday and 2 and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The new, 100-minute show features performers from around the world, with clowns, contortionists, acrobats and more and acts such as the tightrope, Russian swing, juggling, aerial straps and jump rope.

‘While Kelly Miller Circus still supports circuses with exotic animals, we have chosen, this year to be exotic animal free,’ the circus’ website says. ‘Your circus experience will be full of funny clowns, stunts, defying acts, and an overall family experience you can’t find anywhere else.’

It all takes place under a bigtop, so weather won’t be a factor. Tickets can be purchased in advance online here at a discounted rate of $10 for adults and $7 for children and seniors. Tickets also can be purchased the day of the performance at the box office for $13 for adults and $8 for children 2-12 and seniors 65 and up. No charge for children under the age of 2.

Before heading to Centre Hall, the circus will be at the Clinton County Fairgrounds in Mill Hall on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Kelly Miller Circus made a stop in Centre County last summer at the Port Matilda Fire Company grounds.
