Former Penn State defensive end and current Kansas City Chiefs outside linebacker Tamba Hali may have a future in music after his football career ends.
The All-Pro and former All-American released a rap/R&B song a few days back called “Hell Yeah,” and while the song probably won’t win a Grammy any time soon, it’s actually pretty good. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Hali’s skills on a mic, as he dropped a freestyle where he shouted out Penn State and even dedicated part of the song to Joe Paterno in February.
“The record “HELL YEAH” is all about the first class escape; champagne, private jets, and five star hotels,” it says on the track’s SoundCloud page. “With a mix of R&B vocals and Hip-Hop bars you can easily find yourself cruising to this record as we usher into the summer. Hell Yeah!!!”
Hali may need to get back into the booth and start a music career once his football career ends. He’s gonna need money so he can keep leaving $1,000 tips at restaurants.
