The National Weather Service has issued a freezing-rain advisory for the State College area.
The advisory will be in effect until 1 p.m. Thursday, according to a post on AccuWeather.com. Parts of the region may see icy coatings up to one tenth of an inch thick, it says.
Drivers may see slick conditions on untreated roads and sidewalks, the advisory notes.
