Fun Unleashed will permanently close later this summer.

Aug. 26 will be the last day of business children’s entertainment center at 339 Benner Pike, which offers an indoor playground, arcade, laser tag and other activities for kids.

Owners Kimberly and Eric Rittenhouse said in a Facebook post that they are closing the business because they plan to return to South America, where they have led mission work in the past.

[W]e want to let you know that we want to return to Bolivia to do the work we do with homeless people, children on the streets and open a drug rehab place,’ they wrote. ‘We cannot run a business and do this in another country and made the tough decision.’

Fun Unleashed has been open in the Benner Pike Shops since 2005.
