The Penn State women’s basketball team remained unbeaten on the road in the Big Ten, defeating Michigan, 77-56, Thursday night in Ann Arbor.
Sophomore guard Maggie Lucas led the Lady Lions with 23 points (on 10-for-13 shooting), and Penn State shot 56.1 percent from the field, improving to 4-0 in conference road games for the first time since 2003-04.
Junior forward Nikki Greene added her first double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Penn State went on a 17-1 run early in the first half and never looked back.
The Lions travel to Michigan State on Sunday. ESPN2 will televise.
