Long before Erin McCracken was running for state representative in the 171st District, I called her a role model. Her energy, talent, and intellect are awe-inspiring.
And she’s running to represent the community she loves.
For months, Erin has been walking the 171st and knocking on doors to meet all of you to tell you what she stands for and to hear your concerns.
One look at her resumé will tell you about her readiness to serve.
First, with master’s in social work and public administration, and Ph.D. coursework in rural sociology, it’s clear that Erin has always been passionate about the challenges faced by working people.
And speaking of working people, Erin is one. She and her husband, Josh, own EcoVents Catering at the Bremen Town Ballroom in Millheim. EcoVents was created with the mission to serve the local community, encourage local enterprise, and support local farmers. Everyday, Erin illustrates and encourages the ability of citizens to revitalize and make a powerful, positive difference in communities.
Next, Erin is not taking any corporate money. The decisions she’ll make as representative will be for the benefit of her community. This means she’ll fight for healthcare, education, and criminal justice reform. She’ll fight for protections for workers, farms, and our environment.
Oh, and she’s the mom of two adorable boys. And a musician.
We can do amazing things here in Central Pennsylvania. And with Erin McCracken representing in Harrisburg, we’ll be off to an amazing start. Vote November 6.
