As the midterm election draws near, a look at Glenn Thompson’s record clearly shows why it is way past time to send GT packing.
Thompson has voted repeatedly to take health care away from 10s of millions of Americans and opposes curbing insurance industry abuses such as denying coverage for pre-existing conditions. e supports bills which hurt the very people whom he claims to help.
Rep. Rosa DeLauro describes the Thompson supported Farm Bill like this. “This bill will kick 2 million people off nutrition assistance and cut SNAP benefits by more than $23 billion. Meanwhile, Republicans continued the massive giveaways to wealthy agribusinesses. Just like the Republican tax scam, the Republican farm bill is rigged for the rich. The top 10 percent of farms received over 60 percent of all farm subsidies.”
Speaking of the “Republican Tax Scam,” Thompson and his accomplices delivered a huge tax break to their wealthy benefactors despite the fact that it will add 1.5 trillion dollars to our national debt jeopardizing Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
We as a nation are better than this!! We deserve to have a representative who actually works for us! That’s why I’ll be voting for Susan Boser to represent Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District this November. I strongly urge you to do the same!
