Lil Wayne Returning to Bryce Jordan Center

Rapper Lil Wayne will pay another visit to the Penn State campus on Friday, Sept. 18 when he will perform at the Bryce Jordan Center, the venue announced Tuesday morning. 

Tickets for the 7 p.m. show go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, March 20 (prices have not yet been announced). Discounted $30 tickets for Penn State University Park students will be available in a presale starting at 10 a.m. Thursday.

The stop on his “20+ Years Of Carter Classics” tour will mark Wayne’s fourth appearance at the BJC in the last 15 years. He last visited the venue as part of Drake’s “It’s All A Blur Tour – Big As The What?” in March 2024.

Born Dwayne Carter Jr. and raised in New Orleans, Wayne has five Grammys, 11 BET awards, four Billboard Music awards, two MTV Video Music awards and eight NAACP Image awards under his belt across his multi-decade music career. 

The rap superstar has so far achieved 187 hits on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart with 25 top-10 features as of 2025, along with over 100 million records sold worldwide, according to iHeart Radio.

Among his most notable tracks are the diamond-certified “Lollipop,” Grammy-winning “A Milli,” “6 Foot 7 Foot,” “Drop the World” and “How to Love.” He has had more than 300 singles, 14 solo studio albums and dozens of mixtapes.
