A missing three-year-old Luzerne County girl was located by police Friday afternoon after an Amber Child Abduction Alert was issued by Pennsylvania State Police for a number of counties in Pennsylvania — including Centre County — and New York.
Ava Byrne, 3, of Nescopeck, was located in New York with her alleged abductor, Robert Byrne. The 24-year-old man is in police custody.
The child had last been seen at 12:30 a.m. on Vine Street in Nescopeck Borough, Luzerne County and police believed Robert Byrne had taken her.
