Metalcore band Every Time I Die will kick off “The Low Teens Tour” Wednesday at the State Theatre in a show that may open new doors for the genres offered by the venue.

Harms Way, Eternal Sleep, and It Is Written will join the headliner during the tour, beginning in State College. Though The State Theatre is no stranger to other genres in the rock scene, this will be its first venture into rock’s more intense side. The show will begin at 7 p.m. and general admission tickets are $20.

The five-piece band formed in 1998 and has released eight studio albums — its latest being The Low Teens, on Sept. 23, 2016. It has previously toured with bands like Parkway Drive, August Burns Red, New Found Glory, and A Day To Remember. In addition, Every Time I Die has played Warped Tour and had artists like Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy and Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco contribute guest vocals on its songs.

The band is most known for some of its older songs such as “Decayin’ With The Boys” from its 2014 release From Parts Unknown and “Wanderlust” from its 2009 release New Junk Aesthetic.

Everytime I Die’s newest single is ‘It Remembers,’ featuring Urie on vocals.

Other upcoming concerts this month at The State Theatre include Railroad Earth on Thursday night, Justin Haywood of the Moody Blues on Feb. 10, Rusted Root on Feb. 16. Geoff Tate of Queensryche on Feb. 21, and Sublime tribute band Badfish on Feb. 27. Keepin’ It Country, a benefit concert for Hearts for Homeless, will be held Feb. 25.
