Armed Robberies: Maksin Illarionov, who was arrested last week on burglary charges, is considered a suspect in the series of local armed robberies, the Centre Daily Times reported today. 

Police wrote in court papers that after arresting the 21-year-old man, they found four guns, two of which were the same type used in the robberies.

Home Invasion: Ethan William Brown, 19, is the fourth person charged in the fall home invasion of a downtown State College apartment, the Centre Daily Times reported.

Brown joins Dalen Sayles, of McKeesport, David Barrington Jr., of Stroudsburg, and Arnold Sayles Jr., of North Versailles, who police said tried to steal a large amount of marijuana at gunpoint on Oct. 23, but left with $3 and three cell phones.

Tax Dispute: The Village at Penn State’s fair market value was declared by court to be $29 million, effectively ending a six-year property value dispute between The Village and Centre County, the Centre Daily Times reported.
