One on One Fitness Raises $37,000 for Centre Volunteers in Medicine, YSB

One on One Fitness, 424 W. Aaron Drive, recently announced in a press release that it raised $37,070 through its “Give Back” initiative in 2018, and more than $350,000 since the program’s inception.

“Give Back” provides One on One’s clients the opportunity to pay for certain services by making a donation to one of its chosen charities, either the Youth Service Bureau or Centre Volunteers in Medicine.

‘We are honored to be a beneficiary of One on One’s Give Back program,’ said Cheryl White, executive director of Centre Volunteers in Medicine. ‘This unique form of giving helps us provide much-needed healthcare to low-income, underserved individuals who live or work in Centre County. We encourage all local businesses to follow One on One’s lead and help the charity of their choice.’

‘At YSB, we are committed to helping all of our community’s children reach their full potential,” said Christine Bishop, Youth Service Bureau CEO. “The support we receive from One on One’s ‘Give Back’ initiative allows us to provide opportunities for kids that would not otherwise be possible. Since 2009, “Give Back” has raised $364,570. Services include One on One’s Lecture Series, The Prize Club, Trainer Bonus program and Nutrition Habit Challenge.
