The Paterno family will soon be selling DVD copies of last week’s memorial service for former football coach Joe Paterno.
Scott Paterno, one of Paterno’s three sons, issued a statement to the Associated Press on Monday saying the family will soon launch a website where copies can be purchased on DVD. All money generated by sales will go to charity.
More than 12,000 people attended Thursday’s Memorial for Joe event at the Bryce Jordan Center.
Paterno passed away Jan. 22 from lung cancer a little more than two months since he was fired Nov. 9 in wake of the Jerry Sandusky child-sexual-abuse scandal.
