UPDATED @ 6:19 p.m. Sept. 22: The pedestrian in this incident, Andrew Mitrisin, appears to have suffered injuries that are not life-threatening, Patton Township police said. They said his injuries likely involve broken bones.
The driver involved in the incident will not be cited; nor will Mitrisin, police said.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Wednesday night on Vairo Boulevard, Patton Township police said.
It happened at 9:47 p.m. on the 600 block, according to a news release. Police said Andrew Mitrisin, of State College, got off of a CATA bus and walked into the path of a vehicle that was westbound on Vairo Boulevard.
Mitirisin was injured and taken by Centre LifeLink to Mount Nittany Medical Center. Details about his condition were not immediately available Thursday morning.
The driver of the striking vehicle was not hurt, police said. There was no immediate indication that he will cited for or charged with any violations.
