Penn State and Duquesne will meet on the hardwood for the seventh consecutive season, the Nittany Lions will host The Dukes on Nov. 13 with a tip time still to be announced.
The Nittany Lions will look to avenge one of the more memorable losses in recent memory as Duquesne went an astounding 17-of-34 from beyond the arc en route to a 78-52 victory at home last season. The Dukes would ultimately finish the 2015-16 campaign at 17-17 but the hot shooting performance against the Nittany Lions was one not soon to be forgotten by either team.
Duquesne becomes Penn State’s second confirmed A-10 opponent of the 2016-17 slate, joining fellow conference-member George Washington. Penn State is also set to face Duke, Georgia Tech, and Pitt. The neutral site contest against the Blue Devils is slated for a 12:30 tip.
Marist and Grand Canyon State are the only other confirmed games on the schedule so far. Penn State will face either Cincinnati or Rhode Island depending on the outcome of its game against Duke.
