The NBA’s Tim Frazier era hasn’t ended just yet as the Philadelphia 76ers have reportedly signed Frazier to another 10-day contract.

During his first 10-day deal with the Sixers, Frazier had an up and down shooting performance averaging 5.5 points a game but overall was a serviceable distributor of the ball averaging 8.7 assists per game in just over 35 minutes a contest.

In fact, in each of his three previous games with the Sixers, Frazier led the team in minutes.

This time around should be more of the same but with the roster shaking up yet again in Philadelphia, Frazier might be one of the more familiar faces for fans when he takes the court tonight to face the Indiana Pacers.

Frazier is expected to start throughout the duration of his contract with the Sixers that will span six games including three straight on the road. During his debut game, Frazier became just the fourth player since 1985 to register 11 or more assists in their first game in the league.

Tonight Frazier will look to build on his most recent game for the Sixers, a 10 point, 7 assist, 6 rebound outing against the Golden State Warriors in a 89-84 loss. Frazier’s averages so far are 5 points, 8.7 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game.

Teams are only permitted to sign a player to two separate 10-day deals. So if Frazier is good enough to keep for the remainder of the season fans should know in 10 days time. If not, he’ll likely head back to the D-League where he was recently the only player in this year’s D-League All-Star game to register a double-double.
