It’s a few years away, but it looks as though Penn State is slated to have an impressive home schedule for the 2018 season.
The Big Ten released a conference-wide slate for the 2018 and 2019 seasons on Wednesday that will add Maryland and Rutgers to the mix.
In 2018, the Nittany Lions will open the conference schedule at Illinois before traveling back home to take on Ohio State in an unusual September meeting between the two programs. After a bye week, Penn State will then face Michigan State in Happy Valley before traveling to Indiana.
Penn State will host Iowa for the only home game in a three game stretch before heading out to Ann Arbor for a Nov. 3 showdown with Michigan. Penn State will return home to face Wisconsin and then head to New Jersey to face Rutgers. The Nittany Lions will close the 2018 regular season at home against Maryland.
