Football season is three months away. Heck, training camp hasn’t even started. Yet here we are talking about spring football 2013.
Penn State announced Thursday its annual Blue-White Game will be held April 20.
All of the Blue-White staples remain: carnival, food, fireworks, live music and the Nittany Lion Club’s Blue-White Event prior to kickoff. I noticed there wasn’t a mention in the press release that admission and parking are free, per usual.
This year’s scrimmage, a 77-65 victory for Blue, drew an estimated 60,000 fans, the third-highest turnout in the country behind Ohio State and Alabama.
Penn State opens the 2012 season Sept. 1 against Ohio.
