With five former Nittany Lions participating in the NFL Combine this week there is plenty to follow even with college football season firmly in the rearview mirror.
Perhaps one of the biggest storylines of the entire draft, all-time leading passer, Christian Hackenberg, and his quest to jump up team’s draft boards.
But Hackenberg isn’t the only Nittany Lion to keep an eye on. Potential first round pick Austin Johnson as well as Jordan Lucas, Carl Nassib and Anthony Zettel are all set to participate.
With just over 330 players in attendance at the event, the NFL Combine includes measurements, medical examinations, and testing, in addition to on-field timing and skills testing. Drills include the 40-yard dash, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 3 cone drill and shuttle run.
StateCollege.com will have coverage of the combine results as they come in this weekend. Here is a complete schedule of the week’s events which kicked off Thursday with Hackenberg taking the podium.
