Welcome back, Penn State fans!
In the 2015 regular season finale and Penn State returns to Spartan Stadium for the first time in six years on Saturday as the Nittany Lions No. 5 Michigan State. Not quite the bitter rivalry as other matchups across the nation during Rivalry Week, but these two teams will have a lot more to play for other than the Land Grant trophy. A ticket to the Big Ten championship game and spot in the college football playoffs is at stake for Michigan State (10-1, 6-1 Big Ten), meanwhile Penn State will continue to look for its first win against a ranked opponent under coach James Franklin. Of the seven teams Penn State (7-4, 4-3 B1G) has beaten this season, only one enters play on Saturday with a winning record.

Injuries:
According to Franklin, the season has taken a toll on the Nittany Lions’ bodies. “We’re banged up this week. More than we have been in the year and a half we’ve been here,” he said after practice earlier this week.
Carl Nassib remains questionable from an apparent injury suffered late against Northwestern, which sidelined him versus Michigan following a few snaps on the opening drive. Christian Hackenberg continues to limp to the sidelines following after punishing sacks on third down, but the quarterback has gave no indication to any hindrance.
