Penn State Football: Keen Named Penn State Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing

Penn State Associate Athletic Director Tom McGrath announced Thursday that Penn State Athletics has hired Brad Keen to take over as Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing.

At Penn State Keen will oversee the marketing and promotions for Penn State athletics and its 31-sport athletic program. More specifically, Keen will work closely with Penn State football coach James Franklin and his program in a variety of areas, including ticketing, branding and gameday fan experience.            

Prior to taking over his role at Penn State, Keen was the Director of Marketing at Wake Forest University the previoust two years. Keen had also served as the Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing at Vanderbilt University for nearly two years. Keen began his career as the Assistant Director of Marketing and Promotions at Middle Tennessee State University in 2010. 

A native of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Keen earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Alabama and was a member of the Crimson Tide’s Athletic Marketing staff as a student.
