Could Penn State see a second change in the traditional blue and white uniforms under Bill O’Brien? According to Lions’ Pride, a downtown State College apparel outlet, Nike’s latest Penn State replica game jersey features a few changes from the 2012-13 edition.

While many fans are still getting accustom to the sight of a name across the back of each jersey, a more defined collar and a Penn State logo at the point of the collar can be seen on Nike’s latest replica uniform. The Nike swoosh is also located in a slightly different location than in previous years.

O’Brien has avoided giving a specific answer regarding any possible uniform changes, using the same well crafted response throughout his coaches’ caravan tour.

“Every year it will be different,” O’Brien said, remarking on the team’s decision to add names to the jersey in 2012. “I think you’ll have to wait until the Syracuse game to see what the names are or what they’re not.”

Overall the changes are minimal but the third change since 2005. In total Penn State has made close to 20 alterations to the uniform since the early 1900’s. Take a look at the photo above and let us know what you think in the poll below.
