Signing Day is only an hour old and Penn State has already added a final piece to the 2017 puzzle as three-star defensive tackle Corey Bolds committed on Wednesday morning. Bolds announced the news on his Twitter account.

Bolds hails from Paramus Catholic in New Jersey, coming in at 6-foot-3, 280 pounds. He will join the likes of Shane Simmons and Shaka Toney in pass rushing duties, picking Penn State over offers from Alabama and Clemson as well as Tennessee, Louisville, and Michigan.

The late addition to Penn State’s class keeps the Nittany Lions holding steady at the No. 15 spot for 2017, third best in the Big Ten according to the 247 Network. Penn State’s 2017 haul is now 20 players deep with four already early enrolled and a handful already having signed their Letters of Intent as of early Wednesday morning.
