Four Nittany Lions put their bodies to the test over the course of several days during the 2013 NFL Combine in hopes of helping their respective draft stocks. Offensive lineman Matt Stankiewitch was the first to hit the field this past Saturday.
Defensive tackle Jordan Hill, and Linebackers Gerald Hodges and Michael Mauti join Stankiewitch at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Offensive linemen drilled on Saturday. Linebackers and defensive linemen took the field on Monday.
30 former Nittany Lions were with NFL teams at the end of the 2012-13 regular season, placing Penn State in the top 15 nationally among schools in producing current NFL players. A total of 329 Nittany Lions have been selected all-time in the NFL Draft, including 36 in the first round. In the 2012 NFL Draft, Penn State had at least four players selected for the 39th time in NFL Draft history.
