No criminal charges will be filed in connection with a locker room fight between starting quarterback Matt McGloin and wide receiver Curtis Drake last Saturday.

Campus police said Thursday that neither McGloin nor Drake wanted to press charges, thus closing the case.

The incident was also referred to the university’s office of judicial affairs, which can still hand down punishment, though nothing major is expected.

McGloin suffered a seizure and concussion-like symptoms from the fight. He is listed as day-to-day, and his status for the Jan. 2 TicketCity Bowl is unknown. Doctors are still evaluating him to be cleared to practice.

Neither McGloin nor Drake practiced Monday. Players were sent home for the holidays Wednesday and must be in Dallas on Monday.
