Penn State Athletics has announced the variable prices for single game public football tickets during the 2015 season.

Much like the 2014 season, ticket prices will go as low as $40 per seat for several home games. The overall price range throughout Beaver Stadium also reflects the same deals that were offered during the 2014 campaign.

The 2015 football campaign will be the second season Penn State fans can take advantage of variable pricing for individual game tickets. The prices are linked to likely demand and interest in the game.

Single game tickets will go on sale to the general public in July.

“In the first year of variable pricing, the response from our fans was enthusiastically positive,” said Jeff Garner, Assistant Athletic Director for Ticketing Sales and Service. “Fans had many price options available to them and while season tickets remain the best value at Beaver Stadium, our single game ticket pricing gives fans more control of their experience.”

Following the Sept. 5 season opener at Temple, Penn State will have five consecutive home games, including Big Ten contests against Rutgers (Sept. 19) and Indiana (Oct. 10-Homecoming).

Tickets for the other three contests in the homestand will be priced as low as $40 – the Sept. 12 home opener vs. Buffalo; Sept. 26 vs. San Diego State and Oct. 3 vs. Army.

The full listing of prices and locations can be found here.

“Again for this season, we focused on fan feedback, the Nittany Lion TicketExchange, other secondary markets, and our fans’ purchasing behavior to provide the best mix of value and choice,” Garner said. “In an effort to be sensitive to our schedule, we are offering three of the first five games at our lowest possible ticket price. We know our fans must commit time, resources and effort to attending a Penn State weekend and variable pricing allows us to respond accordingly.”

Single game ticket prices for Nittany Lion Club members will be released in the next several days.

In addition, the Recent Graduate program gives Penn State alumni who earned undergraduate degrees between 2011-15 the opportunity to purchase up to two season tickets for $300 for the seven-game home schedule this fall.
