Penn State officials announced that Wednesday’s snowfall and wet grounds will close the overnight RV lot outside Beaver Stadium on Friday, Nov. 28 ahead of Saturday’s football game with Michigan State.

As of late Wednesday afternoon, Penn State Athletics expects that the overnight RV lot will open on Saturday at 8 a.m., when the other parking lots that are available also open.

Penn State officials continue to monitor today’s snowfall and its impact on game day parking and tailgating conditions for Saturday’s game. Should there be any changes related to game day parking, Penn State expects to distribute that information by 11 a.m. on Friday.

The State College forecast for Saturday is partly sunny and in the upper 30’s, with no precipitation.

Before traveling to the State College area, fans are encouraged to check for traffic and parking updates. Fans can check www.GoPSUsports.com and live.psu.edu or Twitter accounts @GoPSUsports and @penn_state, as well as local radio stations (1450 AM, 93.7 FM, 970 AM) for further updates prior to kickoff.

Advance parking for Saturday’s game is no longer available for purchase. Penn State Customer Relations representatives will be available at 1-800-NITTANY on Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until one hour after the conclusion of the game.
