Penn State football has toured around the country this week for a few of the ever controversial but otherwise harmless satellite camps to get the word out about what the university and program has to offer.
But unlike most events, the media is not a big part of the function. The camps are open to the public to watch, but this isn’t the Coaches Caravan and in turn James Franklin and company aren’t too focused on unnecessary press conferences.
As a result, the best way to get a look at how things are going, the citizen reporter, the average everyday parent, fan or player who made a trip to one of these camps and Tweeted about it. An inside look at a handful of camps that have been otherwise uncovered by the media.
In the end, football camps are just football camps, but here is what some of the folks in attendance had to say about the events.
