Penn State student tickets for the Oct. 2 football game at the University of Iowa will go on sale at 7 a.m. Monday at Gate B of the Bryce Jordan Center.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT in the Hawkeyes’ Kinnick Stadium, in Iowa City. It will be the season’s Big Ten Conference opener for both Penn State and Iowa.

Student tickets for Penn Staters will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, according to a Penn State news release. Students will be limited to one $65 ticket apiece; they must present valid Penn State ID+ cards upon making their purchases.

Credit cards and checks will not be accepted, Penn State noted; the sales will be made on a cash-only basis.

‘Students wanting to purchase tickets so that they may sit together at the game will need to make their ticket purchases together at Gate B of the BJC Monday morning,’ the news release reads. ‘Students may arrive at the Jordan Center at 6 a.m. on Monday for the sale.

‘Should demand dictate it, tickets will be sold through a wristband lottery,’ it goes on. ‘If the number of students in line by 7 a.m. exceeds the number of student tickets allocated for the Iowa game, a wristband lottery will be held. Students not in line by the time of the sale, 7 a.m., will not be included in the wristband lottery, should one be held.’

If student tickets for the Iowa game are still available by 8 a.m. Monday, the sale will move to the athletic ticket office inside the Jordan Center, Penn State reported. Student tickets will not be available after 4 p.m. Monday, according to the release.
