The Penn State-Temple game on Sept. 17 will be huge: The Nittany Lions have a chance to redeem themselves against the Owls, nail the Stripe Out for the second year in a row, and help raise money to fight pediatric cancer.
During the Stripe Out game, 50 percent of the net proceeds of every ticket purchased will be donated directly to THON. Likewise, buyers will be able to give credit to an organization of their choice.
Although the game is at noon (something we’re very used to), this year’s Stripe Out game does provide an excellent opportunity to celebrate what many Penn State students and alumni love most — football and THON. So, Penn State, enjoy #107kstrong while it lasts.
