When Intermat released its final regular season individual rankings, eight Penn State wrestlers found their names inside the top 12 in their weight class.

However, one would think the most important ranking to date would be No. 1, which is where Penn State finds itself in Intermat’s Tournament Power Index ranking, a whopping 29 points above second place Minnesota.

Four of Penn State’s ranked wrestlers find themselves within the top-two spots, as Frank Molinaro and David Taylor occupy the top slot at 149 pounds and 165 pounds, respectively, with Ed Ruth and Quentin Wright checking in at No. 2 at 174 pounds and 184 pounds.

Nico Megaludis, Dylan Alton, Morgan McIntosh and Cameron Wade are also ranked inside the top 12. All eight are bound to be high seeds when Penn State goes back into action March 3-4 at the Big Ten Tournament.
