Police: Armed Robbery Investigated at Patton Township Uni-Mart

A Patton Township Uni-Mart was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday evening, township police said.

It happened at 7:41 p.m. at the convenience store at Carson’s Corner, near Stormstown, according to a news release. Two people walked in, and one brandished a handgun at the store clerk, police said.

They fled in a southerly direction with numerous cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the release.

Police described the armed person as a white man with a thin to medium build. He was wearing a black mask, camouflaged pants, a camouflaged jacket and a light-colored hood, police said. He stands about six feet tall and may have had a mustache, according to the police description.

The other suspect is a white, heavy-set man who was wearing an orange ski mask, dark pants and dark shoes, police said. He stands about six feet tall and may have been wearing sunglasses, according to their description. He also was wearing a red jacket that’s black in the shoulder area, police said.

‘Video shows the actors approaching the store from the south, behind the business,’ the release reads. ‘ … A possible dog track led to an area just east of North Atherton Street along Buffalo Run Road, where a vehicle may have been parked.’
