State College police on Tuesday arrested a Washington County man accused of sexually assaulting a woman at her borough apartment in 2021.
Gabrielle G. Uribe, 23, is accused of forcing her to perform oral sex and sexually assaulting her while she told him to stop, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
The woman said she met Uribe on Oct. 24, 2021 at a downtown State College bar and invited him to come back to her apartment with her friends. After the friends left, they engaged in consensual kissing and oral sex before Uribe assaulted her, police wrote.
Uribe allegedly slapped the woman across the face four times and at one point filmed her with his phone without her consent. The woman said she told Uribe that she felt ill in an attempt to get him to stop and while she was in the bathroom pretending to vomit he sexually assaulted her again.
A search warrant served for Uribe’s SnapChat account yielded a video of the woman being recorded without her consent, according to the affidavit.
Uribe is charged with felony counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault and intercepting electronic communications and a misdemeanor count of indecent assault.
He was arraigned by District Judge Don Hahn, who set unsecured bail at $65,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 10.
