A man wanted on stalking and assault charges in State College has been arrested in Florida, according to borough police.
Michael A. Lloyd, 43, was apprehended on Friday by South Daytona Beach police on four arrest warrants, including two by State College police.
Police began asking for the public’s assistance locating Lloyd on Nov. 26 after filing charges of stalking, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person earlier in the month for alleged offenses that occurred in College Township.

At the time, police said Lloyd had last been seen on Nov. 14 in the area of Colyer Lake. Members of the public were advised not to approach him if they saw him, but to contact law enforcement.
State College police obtained a second arrest warrant for Lloyd on Dec. 4 for charges of stalking and flight to avoid apprehension. According to court records, a bench warrant for Lloyd was also issued this month on a charge of contempt for violating a court order
Lloyd is detained at the Volusia County Correctional Facility in Florida while awaiting extradition.
The Centre County District Attorney’s Office, Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office and the Department of Homeland Security assisted in the search.
