Police Looking for Suspect Who Stole Cash from State College Convenience Store

State College police are asking for the public’s assistance identifying a person who allegedly stole cash from a borough convenience store.

The male suspect, pictured below, entered Uni-Mart, 1200 S. Atherton St., at about 3:55 a.m. on Tuesday, according to police. While the clerk was distracted, the suspect allegedly took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area.

He was wearing a hoodie and a face covering at the time.

Anyone who may have information about the incident is asked to contact the State College Police Department at (814) 234-7150, by email or by submitting an anonymous tip through the department’s website.
