State College police on Tuesday provided more details about a burglary early Monday morning in Boalsburg.
Officers were dispatched just after midnight to a report of a burglary in progress at a residence on the 500 block of West Drive. Police said two suspects, both wearing ski masks and believed to be male, attempted to steal a gaming system and fled from the home on foot when confronted by a resident.
One of the suspects brandished a handgun, which was described as having a chrome finish, before fleeing.
The suspect with the gun was described as being between 6 feet, 2 inches and 6 feet, 4 inches tall with a thin build and dark skin. He was wearing factory-ripped jeans.
The other suspect is approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a medium build and was wearing dark clothing.
No one was injured during the incident, which police initially described as a ‘home invasion robbery’ on Monday. A release on Tuesday referred to it as a burglary.
