A stolen LionCash card was used to buy items at several downtown State College stores on Oct. 31, State College police said.
Police said a suspect used the card at Got Used Books, a Uni-Mart, a CVS, The Apple Tree, Pita Pit, and Lion and Cub Clothing. The purchases were recorded between noon and 4 p.m., according to a news release.
The card’s owner realized it was missing during the Penn State football game on Oct. 31, the release notes.
The suspect in the case is described as a white male with a beard and a mustache, police said. He was wearing a dark coat and a dark ball cap that was positioned backwards, and he was accompanied by two white males — one wearing a plaid shirt over a gray hoodie, the other wearing a light-colored hoodie, according to the news release.
