You may want to add an umbrella to your Halloween costume. Rainy weather is possible when Trick-or-Treaters hit the streets Thursday night.
Alex Sosnowski, expert senior meteorologist at Accuweather, says temperatures will be a mild 60 degrees but a passing shower may come through when trick-or-treaters are outside, between the hours of 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. However, some powerful storms may hit our area later tonight.
“For folks that may be out and about later in the evening there may be some drenching rain to sweep through until tomorrow morning,” Sosnowski says. “The rain will be accompanied by some gusty winds and possibly even some thunder and lightning.”
Sosnowski says the morning drive will most likely be dry, but you may encounter some windy conditions and maybe a few fallen tree branches.
Saturday will be progressively colder during the Penn State football game, with varying clouds and showers in the afternoon.
