PSN-TV has returned for the Spring semester, and Rachel Polansky reports from the fencing team’s invitational, Saturday afternoon in the White Building.

The Nittany Lions competed against UNC, John Hopkins, Temple, Drew, Haverford and Penn, and dominated the competition. The women’s team was undefeated in the epee and foil and finished 26-1, while the men’s team went 9-0 in the epee and finished 23-4 overall.

Rachel had the opportunity to interview sophomore Miles Chamley- Watson, 2009 All- American and member of the 2009 Junior World Championship team. Earning an impressive 24- 2 record as a freshman, Chamley- Watson hopes to continue his success in the foil for this 2009- 2010 season.

Penn State fencing is ranked No. 1 for both the men and women’s teams in the release of the first edition USFCA College Fencing Coaches’ Poll this season. Both men and women’s teams were 2009 National Collegiate Champions, as well.
