After meeting for nearly three hours behind closed doors, Jerry Sandusky, his defense team, prosecutors from the Attorney General’s Office and Judge John Cleland left the Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte Tuesday without any comment around 5:50 p.m.
Cleland issued a gag order in the case last month, which forbade any public statements that might be interpreted as opinionated.
A pre-trial hearing to address unresolved issues is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Courtroom 1.
Sandusky, the former Penn State defensive coordinator, was present for Tuesday’s meeting on the third floor of the Courthouse Annex, but he is not expected in court on Wednesday.

Former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky made an unscheduled appearance Tuesday at the Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte.
According to WTAJ-TV, he entered the courthouse around 3 p.m. with his counsel, Joe Amendola and Karl Rominger.
Prosecutors from the Attorney General’s office are meeting with the defense and Judge John Cleland in the Courthouse Annex, the TV station reported. The purpose of the meeting is unclear.
Sandusky was not expected to be at his pre-trial hearing scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. The hearing was set to resolve any outstanding issues before the trial, which is scheduled for June 5.
Jury selection is expected to last at least two weeks.
Six new documents regarding the upcoming trial were filed Tuesday afternoon.
Sandusky, 68, faces 52 criminal charges of child sexual abuse. He maintains his innocence.
