Another unmarked police cruiser was set ablaze at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday while it sat in a State College Borough Municipal Building parking lot, the State College Police Department said.
Police are investigating the arson, which is the second police vehicle burning to have occurred within the past two months.
The first vehicle damaged by fire — also an unmarked cruiser — was found June 21 at about 1:15 a.m. in the same government parking lot. An officer discovered the car destroyed with an apparent homemade bomb burning on its trunk, police said.
