Single-game Penn State football tickets for the 2010 season will go on sale Monday, the university announced Thursday.

Sales will start at 10 a.m. via www.gopsusports.com, Penn State reported. Most of the single-game tickets will run $67 per seat, up from $64 last year, athletics spokesman Jeff Nelson said.

Some tickets — for the club-seat area on the stadium’s south end — will be $71 apiece, he said.

Nelson said single-game parking fees, paid in advance, will be $10 for cars and $40 for RVs.

Single-game tickets will be available for all seven home match-ups, according to Penn State. Beaver Stadium this year will celebrate its 50th anniversary as the home of the Nittany Lions.

Meanwhile, tickets for four of the Lions’ five away games are sold out already. Tickets for the fifth, a Nov. 20 game against Indiana in Landover, Md., are available through www.gopsusports.com/tickets. Or buyers can call (814) 865-5555 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays, according to Penn State.

Any single-game tickets remaining for Beaver Stadium after Aug. 1 will be available for sale by phone as well as online. The phone line, (814) 865-5555, will be open for those sales from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Aug. 2.

Nearly 93,000 season tickets have already been sold for 2010, Penn State reported. The university reported a roughly 95 percent renewal rate among season-ticket holders.

The stadium has an official seating capacity of 107,282. Nelson said single-game-ticket availability will vary from one match-up to another.
