A large sinkhole opened up Friday in the Northland Center Shopping Plaza parking lot.
The sinkhole developed on the south driveway near Brother’s Pizza.
Ferguson Township Police said in a release that all businesses in the center remain open, but part of the lot will be closed for several days while contractors make repairs.
Bus stops in the center near the area will be affected, police said.
