State College police are investigating after a man fell to his death.
State College Police Chief Thomas King says a 33-year-old man fell from a seventh floor balcony at about 2:55 p.m. Thursday.
It happened at the man’s apartment building in the 300 block of South Allen Street.
Witnesses told StateCollege.com they heard shouting from the victim’s balcony prior to the fall.
King says a preliminary investigation indicates there’s no reason to suspect foul play.
The investigation is ongoing and will include an autopsy and additional interviews with a female friend who was inside the victim’s apartment just before the fall.
Police have asked anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact the State College Police Department at (814) 234-7150.
Police did not release the victim’s name.
