State College police are searching for a suspect who allegedly harassed two women and injured one in the Highlands Neighborhood.
At about 2 a.m. on Jan. 12, a white male with blonde hair and wearing a black jacket followed two female college students from outside of Gumby’s, 300 S. Pugh St., to the 500 block of South Pugh Street, according to police.
The man allegedly attempted to have the two women go to his residence. When they ignored them, police said, he ran up behind one of the women and pushed her to the ground, causing her to sustain multiple injuries.
He then fled west on East Fairmount Avenue toward South Allen Street. Police said the suspect is believed to have been at Champs Downtown earlier in the night, based on statements he made to the women.
