State College police are asking for the public’s help locating a 46-year-old man who was reported missing.
Stephen Shimmel was last seen on Sunday evening in State College, the department wrote in a release on Wednesday. Police are attempting to find him and to check on his welfare.
Shimmel is described as 5-feet 4-inches tall and heavy-set, with blue eyes, blond/gray hair and a long beard. He was last known to be wearing a brown coat and carrying a portable oxygen tank.
