State College Area High School was under a lockdown Wednesday afternoon after a reported threat from a student, according to the school district.
Principals implemented the lockdown at 12:40 p.m. and it was lifted after about 10 minutes.
‘We are no longer under lockdown. All students all safe, and we will share more information as soon as possible,’ a district statement said.
The nature of the threat was not immediately made public. WTAJ-TV reported that prior to the lockdown being lifted at least one bullet, but no weapons, had been found.
