State Rep. Kerry Benninghoff, R-Bellefonte, is partnering with the Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority to host a free paper shredding event.
The event will be held from 8-11 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, at the authority’s headquarters, 253 Transfer Road, Bellefonte.
“It’s a good time to declutter your house, when it comes to paperwork that you no longer need or have to keep,” Benninghoff said in a news release.
Participants should put items to be disposed in a container they do not need to be returned and place them in the trunks or truck beds of their vehicles, which will be unloaded by authority employees. No plastic will be accepted.
The event is for Centre County residents only, not businesses.
