The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board announced Friday that its Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores around the state will be open on Monday, which is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, as well as on Presidents Day, Memorial Day and the Fourth of July.
State law previously prohibited stores from opening on holidays, but a sweeping liquor reform bill passed last year removed the restriction.
The state stores will be open normal hours on Monday and on Presidents Day, Feb. 20. They will be open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Memorial Day (May 29) and on July 4.
The PLCB operates more than 600 Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores, including six in Centre County.
