The wife of Democratic senatorial nominee Joe Sestak, Susan Clark-Sestak, is scheduled to meet today with Penn State students at University Park, the Sestak campaign announced.
She’s expected to discuss ‘the importance of young people voting and youth involvement during the election,’ according to the campaign. Clark-Sestak is slated to appear at 7:15 p.m. in a third-floor lounge at the HUB-Robeson Center.
The event will be open to the public, according to the campaign. Joe Sestak, a U.S. Congressman from Delaware County, will face Republican senatorial nominee Pat Toomey, a former US. Congressman from the Allentown area, in the Nov. 2 general election. The winner will fill the U.S. Senate seat now occupied by Sen. Arlen Specter.
